I've been trying for the past two weeks to complete a painting of Chairman Meow with a pancake on his head for Kevin at Obey The Kitty. Late Tuesday there's a chance this will finally occur. You can see in this photo a new Michael Jackson portrait in progress as well.

Ray Noland of Run Blago Run informs me that the UPS parcel containing my portrait of Roy Blagojevitch with a pancake on his head made it to the front desk of his Chicago show at 10 AM on Friday, disappeared, and then reappeared once the show was over. Better pancake next time.

A Michael Jackson Art Portrait

This is currently one of my more popular Michael Jackson art paintings; a portrait of Michael with his gloved hand to his head and a tear rolling through his mascara, turning from white to black.

I usually paint these in a few stages, first with an intial application of paint which I let dry for a day or two before reworking. I nearly didn't post this painting, thinking it really didn't work for some reason, but the response has been very positive.

I'm working on a number of paintings in celebration of my appearance tomorrow on the Drew and Mike in the Morning Show on WRIF, including this new piece in progress featuring Drew Lane and Mike Clark nude on unicorn while sailing over the great city of Detroit-



A view of the city will be included on the bottom, left-hand corner of the canvas. WRIF will also be added to Penelope's forehead, with the horn protruding from the 'R.'

I'll have a number of additional paintings posted tomorrow as well, including a few Detroit-themed suggestions from my friends at Portal Of Evil News. All of these painting will be posted for auction on Ebay.
